Samina Corporation’s Newisys division recently announced the release of its EDA-4605 array, which utilizes Seagate’s groundbreaking Kinetic Open Storage platform for superior scalability and reliability. The EDA-4605 is a dense appliance that leverages Ethernet-direct drives to provide high-performing cloud storage solutions.

The Newisys EDA-4605 is a dense 240TB array, featuring a 4U configuration with 60 Ethernet-direct drives. In addition, it has four 10Gb Ethernet ports, as well as redundant hot-swappable Ethernet management modules and power/fan units.
